Pizza Knots and Final Thoughts

Due to technical issues in the test kitchen, we’ve had to pare down the number of test recipes, so here’s the final recipe from Debbie Macomber’s Table, by Debbie Macomber:

Garlic Pizza Knots with Tomato Dipping Sauce

These are fun little appetizers which are easy to make.  They’re a heavy appetizer, so they could work as a main—especially for kids.  I actually ate them as my supper, and they were quite filling.

The one tweak I would recommend is to cut back on the salt.  There is salt in the dipping sauce and then salt in the herbed butter mixture. The combined total of salt is almost a whole teaspoon.  I found it to be too much for me.

This recipe would be good for large gatherings of kids or for game days/nights.  It’s a little much for just one or two people in one sitting, so be sure to have a few friends to help you chow down.

Recipe rating: 8/10
